Sustainability - Third Mission

Major societal challenges and upheavals, e.g. due to climate change, can only be mastered together with various actors. Universities, as places of critical thinking, research and innovation, play an important role in the necessary transformation processes.

The University of Bayreuth assumes this role for the Bayreuth region and Upper Franconia.
