The regional transformation platform forum1.5 works at the interface between science and society on the challenges of the climate crisis. The interdisciplinary approach and co-creative methods lead to intensive cooperation in the fields of sustainable urban development. Concrete knowledge transfer takes place primarily at regular event series and in the development of new ideas with practitioners.
At the end of 2023, forum1.5 organized the first regional climate conference for Bayreuth and Upper Franconia. In an innovative format, intensive climate protection measures were worked on in 16 subject areas at the same time as the international climate conference. At the end, a resolution was formulated in a co-creative process, which is open for further signatures. The second regional climate conference is planned for November 2024.
